Sandra Burgin is and has been an unsung hero for her entire life. Her heroic acts are her sincere concern and care for others. She has provided a foster home for many foster children. As a stroke survivor herself, she ministers to other stroke survivors.
In addition to serving her church and community faithfully, Sandra has an egg ministry for the homeless. She boils and delivers eggs to the homeless in downtown Knoxville on a regular basis and she has done this for many years.
Sandra regularly visits shut ins and provides meals for them.
She is a true hero to all that know her, and she is able to basically do everything she does with only half her body functioning.Sandra is truly amazing and does not want any recognition or accolades. She is a humble servant and displays a true hero’s heart wanting nothing in return.
Sandra Burgin is a dynamic lady and she has been involved in many ministries and too many to count. As an example, pictured is Sandra Burgin’s Birthday Fundraiser. For her birthday, she asked for donations to a nonprofit because their mission means a lot to her.
