November 29, 2022, celebrates GIVING TUESDAY when the world comes together to support charitable causes and kicks off December as the NATIONAL GIVING MONTH for end-of-year charitable giving. At a time dedicated to generosity and kindness, you can show your support for the Atlantic Coast Young Marines.
The not-for-profit We Can Be Heroes Foundation has been a proud sponsor of the Atlantic Coast Young Marines since 2017. A new and challenging educational opportunity exists to help the Atlantic Coast Young Marines learn World War II history. A supervised tour is planned for as many Atlantic Coast Young Marines as can be funded to go to the 2023 D-Day Remembrance in Normandy and historic World War II sites in France and Germany. These Young Marines will experience a moving and unforgettable time standing at the sites of the climactic D-Day invasion and meeting some remaining World War II Veterans. This rare opportunity will teach the Young Marines valuable history lessons they otherwise will never learn. Your contribution today will help us sponsor as many Atlantic Coast Young Marines as possible to learn World War II history first-hand. Your donation is tax-deductible under IRS Section 170.
While juggling schoolwork, drilling with their unit, and donating hundreds of volunteer hours helping veterans and our community, the Atlantic Coast Young Marines are trying to raise as much money as possible for this trip. They have been fundraising with car washes, silent auctions, door-to-door donation drives, setting up donation tables at stores, and much more. They need your help.
