Please consider an online donation OR a personal donation of food items from the list below for weekend deliveries to the Veterans Unit, Clara White Mission in Jacksonville, FL. The Mission and many food donations sites are closed on weekends, making it difficult for those in-need on weekends. We Can Be Heroes Foundation packs ditty bags for Veterans weekend meals.

Non-perishable food to donate in person for packaging: Individual servings of prepackaged or canned items with pop-top tabs, such as Vienna Sausage, Beanie-Weenies, beef jerky, sardines, tuna, granola, cereal and power bars, fruit cups, cheese, and peanut butter crackers, cookies, snack packs, peanuts, or similar items. Bottled water or beverages are always a necessity.
Gift cards of $10-$15 cards from local stores, such as 7-Eleven, Dollar General, Walmart, can also be donated as a dignified way for Veterans to purchase essential personal items.
