Various sources report one-fourth or more of U.S. troops in America and overseas are struggling to feed their families due to inflation and low pay.  It is especially difficult for those serving overseas.  Warriors Pantries have been opened at some U.S. overseas bases to provide food.

On May 8, 2024 Stars and Strips News reported the largest overseas base, Camp Humphreys, South Korea, opened a food pantry for troops. This Army Garrison, with approximately 28,000 military and families, is 60 miles from the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that divides North and South Korea.

We are all struggling with out-of-control inflation but those serving our country overseas are struggling more than we are.  Please pray for our troops and if you can click HERE to donate online. Earmark your donation “Warriors Pantry”.  Mail checks to We Can Be Heroes Foundation, 14286-19 Beach Blvd., #120, Jacksonville, FL 32250 – enter “Warriors Pantry” in the memo space.  Donors will receive a Certificate of Appreciation for donations over $50.
