Will you help by donating food in person or donating online for the purchase of food? If you are in the Jacksonville area and can help serve or donate, please leave a message at 904 373-8817 to arrange pick-up.

Here are suggestions to donate in person:  Individual servings of prepackaged or canned items with pop-top tabs, such as Vienna Sausage, Beanie-Weenies, beef jerky, sardines, tuna, granola, cereal and power or breakfast bars, fruit cups, cheese or peanut butter crackers, cookies, snack packs, peanuts, or similar items and $10-$15 Gift Cards. Bottled water is always a necessity. Other items, such as socks, wash cloths, packaged tooth brush, nail clippers, combs, disposable razors, hand sanitizer, handkerchiefs, blankets and such.

Gift card drawings of $10-$15 cards from local stores, such as 7-Eleven, Dollar General, or Dollar Store, are held at the Luncheon and provide a dignified way for Veterans to purchase essential personal items. The Veterans enjoy the drawings and provide some fun at the luncheon.
