Multiple News Sources Honored Veteran Heroes

Multiple news sources spoke with Veterans and Young Marines at the Pearl Harbor Remembrance hosted by the WE CAN BE HEROES FOUNDATION. These heroes take an oath to support and defend the Constitution against all foreign and domestic enemies. Their interviews and stories reflect their devotion and loyalty to this oath that made our country great. Watch and read these heroes’ stories below:

  • Guest of Honor John Connelly shared his story as a World War II prisoner of war on the front page of The Florida Times Union here. Connelly was also extensively interviewed by WOKV.

    3. Atlantic Coast Young Marine Sergeant Major Sean Vernon speaking eloquently on the importance for all of us to realize how much all veterans needs our appreciation of love. Later in the program, Young Marine Vernon led the audience and Young Marines in the Graduation Ceremony of Young Marine Palase Randall. Vernon explained the tradition, protocol and hard work leading to a Young Marine graduation ceremony.

Young Marine Vernon is being considered for Division Young Marine of the Year.
