Adam Brandon, Esq.

Adam Brandon is an attorney with Florida’s premier conservative law firm, Lawson Huck Gonzalez. He is also a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve who prosecuted terrorists in Iraq and deployed to Guantanamo Bay. Active in the Federalist Society, he is the past President of the Jacksonville Lawyers Chapter.  Mr. Brandon’s distinguished bio is below.

ADAM BRANDON BIOGRAPHY
Adam works as a Shareholder at Lawson Huck Gonzalez, PLLC, leading the Jacksonville office. Licensed to practice in Florida and Georgia, he represents government agencies, businesses, and individuals in the areas of complex commercial, construction, and eminent domain litigation. He has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation for 2017-2022 and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (Commercial Litigation) for 2022-2024. Before joining Lawson Huck Gonzalez, Adam was a partner in the litigation department of a prominent Jacksonville law firm.

A 16-year Navy veteran, Adam deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and facilitated the prosecution in Iraqi courts of over 130 terrorists affiliated with such as Al Qaeda. His work with Iraqi judges and prosecutors led to an increase in convictions, including 17 capital sentences. He also mobilized to Joint Task Force Guantanamo, where he served as the Chief of the Litigation Support Section. He continues his military service as a Commander in the Navy Reserve and the Executive Officer of an 80-person legal unit.

Active in the Jacksonville community, Adam has served as the President of the Jacksonville Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society, and the General Counsel of the Duval Republican Executive Committee. He is a graduate of Leadership Florida, the James Madison Institute Leaders Fellowship, and the Jacksonville Regional Political Leadership Institute. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Jacksonville and serves on the board of the American Red Cross – Northeast Florida Chapter. He has also been appointed three times by Governor Ron DeSantis to serve as a Commissioner on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the First District Court of Appeal as well as the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fifth District Court of Appeal.
