Local charity Turning Points in America· honored veterans last weekend with a capacity crowd for the “Flapjack Breakfast” at Applebee’s Restaurant at the St. Johns Town Center. The Flapjack Breakfast was in appreciation of all veterans and in honor of the soldiers lost in the Battle of Benghazi. Tickets for the full breakfast were complimentary for the invaluable service rendered by local heroes. Music selections were performed by the Let Freedom Sing Chorus and attendees spontaneously joined in the cherished patriotic singing. Veterans with the Clara White Mission joined other Patriots in serving the breakfast.
