Dianne Lavelle of Jacksonville, Florida, volunteered to help the We Can Be Heroes Foundation program for homeless veterans in Northeast Florida. While holding down a full-time nursing job, Dianne spent countless evening and weekend hours working an online veterans benefit program. The work was tedious, complicated, and time-consuming. Her work raised over $7,500 in two years for the homeless that visit the Clara White Mission in Jacksonville, Florida. Dianne’s volunteer work made it possible to deliver ditty bags of individual servings of canned and nonperishable food to homeless veterans during and after the COVID-19 period.
Dianne also volunteers to work at the We Can Be Heroes events and serves on the Foundation’s Volunteer Team. She has been a steady volunteer to help with the Foundation’s broad mission and gives freely of her time, planning, and advice. She assists other volunteers and serves in a friendly and professional manner.
Dianne Lavelle is an honorable and true Patriot, filled with love and service to America and her fellow Americans. She admires and appreciates the service of every American Veteran. She is an asset to America.
Well done, good and faithful Unsung Hero of Jacksonville, Florida.
